Due to the growth of the Research and Development department and due to some innovative projects and kick-offs, our respected client is looking for both experienced and some less experienced Mobile App Development colleagues. The activities can range from a minor adjustment in the software for the complete replacement of a system in hardware and software area. In addition to the advisory and practical role as Mobile App Developer you are also responsible for the implementation of your recommendations, which makes this position very interesting and challenging.
As a Mobile App Developer you will be able to refine existing and develop new based IOS and Android apps used to validate the identification of documents and authenticate users, using various sensors. Easier tasks could involve the development of a scanning app which auto-crops and allows the user to crop, de-skew, rotate before uploading it to the companies document authentication web services. Office Lens apps are for example the kind of interface they envisage. The more difficult tasks are based on inventing novel ways of identifying people and matching them to their given identification documents. Imagine for example ways how a security sensitive company could sign up new customers rapidly online by being able to prove they have a valid identification document and/or are actually the individual in the document. A picture of a person can be easily forged but a video or multiple shots from totally different angles could be much harder.

Mobile App Developer;
The proper Mobile App Developer applicant should have a demonstrable track record of attractive, highly functional cross-platform apps that integrate with back end web services and that are designed with particular attention to maximising cross-platform code sharing through the use of various relevant architectural patterns and technologies, e.g. MVVM, MV*, Xamarin.
Required;
-An individual adept at design and development of customer-oriented, technically advanced, visually appealing mobile apps.
-A passion for technologies such as facial recognition, 3D mapping of objects from different capture sources, novel ways of using mobile phone sensors.
-Ability to work collaboratively with the business experts and internal and external stakeholders.
-Strong communication skills with both the ability and desire to collaborate effectively within a team of developers, not hide in the corner.
-Excellent programming skills in mobile technologies, preferably C#.
-Good experience of MVVM, MV* etc. architectural patterns.
-Demonstrable skill in development of mobile apps.
-Experience with agile methods and/or scrum framework.
-Bachelor of Science degree (or equivalent) in Computer Science or related discipline.
-Minimum of 5 years experience in development.
-Professional or academic educational background .
-Good communication skills, speaking and writing in English.
-Willingness to travel abroad (occasionally).
