This well-known international Technology company is interested in Junior DevOps Engineers. A practical background/experience in ICT Infrastructure is the minimum requirement for the entry-level DevOps Engineer. A glimpse of their customer base includes HSBC, ABN AMRO, Lloyds Banking Group,  Barclays, Credit Suisse, Fidelity, and Societe Generale.

Therefore, SDP is looking for a full-time Junior DevOps Engineer to co-develop and improve multi-cloud infrastructure. You will be part of a dedicated team responsible for the design, operation, availability, change management, performance, monitoring, security, and emergency response of a global infrastructure, as well as creating and maintaining continuous integration/ continuous delivery pipelines. You will assist application engineers and automation experts as they design and develop infrastructure to improve resiliency, security, and data availability.

The Junior DevOps Engineer requires;
-about 3+ years experience as DevOps Engineer/Systems Administrator/Cloud Engineer;
-Experience or strong knowledge of building and maintaining highly available systems on cloud infrastructure, preferably Microsoft Azure;
-Knowledge in running and debugging distributed systems based on Linux and Kubernetes (specifically Azure Kubernetes Service);
-Excellent Linux and SQL database-knowledge (i.e. Postgresql, MySQL, MS SQL);
-Knowledge with automation tools (git, Bamboo, Jenkins, Terraform);
-Experience or strong knowledge in scripting bash / powershell;
-Experience or strong knowledge with configuration management tools, preferably puppet;
-Teamwork, reliability, responsibility and attention to detail;
-Very good analytical and problem solving skills;
-Curious about learning new technologies;
-Fluent written and spoken English.
