Medior Java Developer

The Engineering teams are responsible for supporting various Cross Product functions. This includes Cross Product Regulatory Controls, Centralized Loan Pledge Platform and Third Party Deposit Sweep Platform and Deposit Insurance Calculators. An ever evolving business and regulatory environment demands on-going innovation to maintain scalable solutions in a changing world. Are you interested in learning about risk and finance or perhaps expanding what you know, while still staying close to your roots as a Java Developer? As a Medior Java Programmer you will have the opportunity to impact one or more aspects of risk management and financial reporting, while working in small, nimble teams to provide technical products that meet their constantly changing business needs. This companies partnership with the Finance and Corporate Treasury Divisions, respectively, directly correlates to their core competencies – managing, monitoring, measuring and reporting not only risk exposures, but also technical financial transactions. They engage with senior leadership across various areas of the firm, in addition to a number of divisional committees and regulatory entities. The Medior Java Developer is a:
-Technical problem solver: Going beyond simply developing error-free source code, test scripts and components, you'll document and build deployment guides aimed at maintaining robust, relevant software;
-Customer-centric engineer: Putting clients' needs first, you'll translate customer requirements into technical applications and support the implementation of new software;
-Forward thinker: Merely fixing a problem isn't enough – using your proactive mind-set and initiative, you'll also identify opportunities to enhance performance, quality and efficiency.
What we require from a Medior Java Developer;
-Minimum of 1 to 2 years experience in a software development function;
-Enthusiastic coder;
-Medior experienced in Java, JavaScript, HTML;
-Experienced with Spring framework and Hibernate ORM;
-Knowledge of OO design principles and patterns;
-Ability to translate use cases and requirements to working implementation;
-Perseverance to solve complex problems;
-University education and degree (IT related);
-Strong analytical and communication skills;
-Strong attention to detail and thoroughness;
-Ability to work in a multicultural and international environment;
-Demonstrated ability to be a self-starter and learn quickly;
-Ability to work in a team-environment;
-Good written and verbal skills in English;
