SDP Amsterdam is looking for an Electronics Repair Engineer with experience or strong knowledge in error analysis of Electronica products and repairing specialized equipment such as battery chargers and inverters at component level.
This permanent Electronics Repair Engineer vacancy is at a fixed office location in Amsterdam and is an inbound position. You’ll be working within a team of advanced Electronics Repair professionals and Senior Software Engineers and Architects.

A brief overview of the Electronics Repair Engineer tasks:
-Error and malfunction analysis on electronics products;
-Record analysis data in the English language in administration by using SAP;
-Repairing mainly specific electronics equipment such as battery chargers and inverters at component levels;
-Refurbishing and updating used electronics products;
-Testing and simulating problems of installed equipment;
-Reporting occurring faults to Senior Software Engineers and Architects;
-Preparing defective products for warranty claims from the technology suppliers;
-Supporting colleagues from the Technical Support group;
The Electronics Repair Engineer Profile:
-Preferably you are in possession of an Electro / Electronics education, but good sense and strong proven affinity with electronics are more important than diplomas;
-Preferably you have already gained a couple of years work experience with electronics repairs at component level;
-We need you to have a service-oriented attitude;
-You are eager to learn, always busy to improve your skills, can communicate well and enjoy working in a team of technicians;
-You have a good command of the English language, spoken and written;
