Junior Java Developers job purpose;
This position is for Junior Java software developers who will take place in the Global Cash Management Development team at the Schiphol office. This internal team provides technology solutions to support the Fund Order Placement and Fund Information Reporting needs of Direct Investors, Financial Intermediaries and Portals. The internal development team is responsible for the full software development lifecycle from analysis to implementation as well as supporting the production environment. The Junior Java Developers will be involved delivering software solutions to time and quality. The Junior Java developers will have good written and verbal communication skills and be able to work effectively in a global team environment.
Junior Java Developers role Responsibility;
-Commits to complete a given work within agreed time limits;
-Produces code that is tested and compliant to coding principles applied within the project;
-Aligns closely with Tech Lead/Solution Architect (as applicable);
-Alerts other team members and project manager of impediments and delays;
-Troubleshoot issues;
-Collaborate with team to develop and release new features;
Technical skills required for the Junior Java Developers;
-Experience in Java, Javascript, XML, JSON, HTML;
-Knowledge of OO design principles and patterns;
-Experience with Spring framework and Hibernate ORM;
-Ability to translate use cases and requirements to working implementation;
-University education and degree (IT related);
-Minimum of 2 years experience in a software development function;
-Enthusiastic coder;
-Strong analytical and communication skills;
-Strong attention to detail and thoroughness;
-Good written and verbal skills in English;
-Perseverance to solve complex problems;
-Ability to work in a multicultural and international environment;
-Demonstrated ability to be a self-starter and learn quickly
-Ability to work in a team-environment
