Junior Technical Support Electrical Engineering
Amsterdam, Noord-HollandSDP is currently looking for a Junior Technical Support Engineer, Electrical Engineering, for a well-known employer in Amsterdam.

As a Junior Technical Support Engineer at this technical employer in Amsterdam, near Duivendrecht, you get the opportunity to make an active contribution to the growth of their impressive organization. To expand their teams, SDP is looking for reinforcement and there is enough room and leeway to be adequately guided and then grow in your role as the Technical Support Electrical Engineer.
As a young professional in the electrical engineering sector, you will also have the opportunity to travel abroad and get acquainted with the most beautiful electrical engineering machines and products. All machines supplied by this impressive employer are unique and are built specifically for the customer. This ensures that every challenge will be a new experience.
Among other things, you are responsible for identifying and resolving malfunctions in the Tech installations via both remote support and on site. You do this independently, in consultation with the client or as an advisor to minimize the client's down time. Thanks to your technical insight and critical questions, you know what the customer needs and where the problem is located. In addition, as a Junior Support Engineer you are engaged in inspecting the new and existing Tech installations of the customers. You check the machines for mechanical, electrical and application technical parts and you provide appropriate advice to the customer through a report.
You will work closely with other colleagues with the common goal of creating the best service experience. You will receive personal guidance and training so that you can perform your work satisfactorily and with pleasure.
As a Junior Technical Support Engineer you are responsible for:
-performing adjustments to existing product installations.
-provide training and start-up assistance with new installations at the customer's location. This does not always have to be on location.
-feedback of malfunctions and changes in electrical installations to the manager.
What is expected of you as a Junior?
-a completed BSc. (electrical) technical education.
-strong knowledge or experience with mechanical and / or electrical activities.
-motivated to travel abroad and visit the world's largest production companies.
-a good command of the English language. Preferably, you are able to speak or understand basic Dutch.
-you have experience or a strong affinity with electrical systems.
