Information Systems Security Auditor

This international orientated company is known as an employee-owned research and engineering company recognized for providing technically superior solutions to complex and challenging problems in the physical sciences. Their offices throughout USA, Canada, and Europe provide a broad range of technical expertise in civil technologies, computer software and simulation, systems analysis, environmental technologies, and testing and measurement.
This impressive and international organisation is under constant pressure from their valued customers and crucial stakeholders to demonstrate compliance with Information Systems and Security standards and that's where you assist them via certification services. As an Information Systems (and Security) advisor, you will primarily be performing certification audits for systems and privacy-related controls internally also proving workshops and training sessions on related topics.
This is a role where no two days are the same – so you’ll find yourself taking on plenty of new responsibilities as you go. You’ll work alongside clients and colleagues, balancing your time between auditing, providing workshops and supporting the business. Since the position is for a team which works on a global scale, there are many international activities and opportunities.
Some duties and responsibilities Information Systems Security Auditor:
-Conducts ISS/NRA audits in Europe and worldwide as needed.
-Ensures that clients are provided with professional, courteous and timely support and service.
-Participates in ISS/NRA audits of the company.
-Responsible for audit planning, field work documentation and audit reports.
-Responsible for following all engagement quality requirements.
Required skills/Experience Information Systems Security Auditor:
-AS/BS Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering or equivalent technical discipline.
-Previous experience or business knowledge of the Maltese and/or European internet gambling.
-3-5 years ISS/NRA auditing professional experience.
-Valid ISACA CISA and ISO27001(LA) certification is a must.
-Detailed knowledge of Information Technologies and standard practices : ISO 27001, NIST, ITIL, COBIT.
-Experience with TCP IP and Network Monitoring software.
-Working knowledge of DNS.
- Intrusion detection and prevention software and SIMS systems knowledge.
