This company is an innovative, successful company based in the Amsterdam area. They take part in many power like products. They are engaged in the development and the worldwide marketing and sales of high quality reliable power systems for autonomous use and in remote locations throughout the world. They have several offices in the Amsterdam area and abroad. At one of their offices in the Amsterdam are, they have 100+ employees. Their product development takes place in The Netherlands and the UK offices. The product development for the global markets is executed in collaboration with internal and external partners. To strengthen their teams in the Amsterdam area, they are looking for a Tester or Test Engineer who is specialised in power electronics products.
As a Junior C++ Engineer for electronics and products e.g. product development and product lifecycle management, you will work in an international organization where you perform a role between manufacturers, sourcing departments and development teams. You will work together with a team of other engineers to facilitate and execute the complete product development cycle up to the launch of products.

For the office in Amsterdam, my client is looking for several Junior C++ Engineers to join the existing team and participate in these efforts:
-Design, code, test, debug, document and maintain software solutions.
-Design technical solutions and perform feasibility studies.
-Propose viable technical solutions to Product Management and/or users for validation.
-Model, design and implement databases as necessary.
-Develop software according to company high standards.
-Conduct unit, package and performance tests of the software and ensure a level of quality in line with the company/product guidelines.
-Participate in the validation / acceptance phase of the product cycle ensuring the fine-tuning necessary to finalise the product.
-Produce software documentation necessary for the application and issue it to the requesting departments.
-Support the end user in the Production phase by debugging existing software solutions in response to Problem Tracking Records (PTR) and Change Requests (CR) issued from Product Management or Product Definition.
Experience:
-BSc. or MSc. degree in Computer Science, Informatics, Electronical Engineering or related field, or equivalent.
- about 1 year practical experience developing software or a very strong basic knowledge.
-Experienced or strong knowledge of Linux environments.
-Technical skills with mainly the following: C++ or C.
-Strong team player with collaborative mind-set.
-Comfortable in a multi-cultural, international organization.
-Great in speaking and writing the English language.
-You have embedded skills or at least the motivation to improve in it.
-Customer satisfaction is very important to you.
