Technical Scrum Master, Amsterdam damrak

As a Technical Scrum Master you will be responsible for the software delivery to stakeholders internally according to scope and time and expected to bring the development department to the next level.
 
Our respected client close to Amsterdam Central designs and develops forward-thinking cloud-based or hybrid hospitality software solutions. It is a premium software solution that uses data science to decrease operational costs, increase guest experience and guest data, to ultimately, increase revenue and organizational stability. How is this accomplished? By providing Leisure and Hospitality businesses a core platform or middleware, for seamless software integration and compete for flexibility in process management.

About you as a Scrum Master:
-Bachelor Degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
-3+ years of working experience in a similar role such as Scrum Master, Agile Coach, Product Owner, IT Project Manager, QA Manager, delivering software for cloud-based solutions.
-Experience as facilitator of development teams of 10+ FTE in an international environment using agile methodologies.
-Have been a software developer yourself , preferably .NET Framework, C#.
-Hospitality/ Leisure experience and/or understanding of hospitality / Leisure IT architecture and industry systems would be an advantage.
-Familiar with development tools such as: JIRA, Trello, Confluence, etc.
-Certified Professional Scrum Master (PSM I & PSM II) or Certified Scrum Practitioner (CSP) is a plus.
-Passionate about improving existing ways of working in order to maximize team performance and increase quality.
-You are pragmatic and able to think out of the box.
-Excellent communication skills in English.
-Strong leadership and influencing skills.
-Pro-active and driven for quality and results.
-Versatility, flexibility and a willingness to work with enthusiasm in an environment with frequently changing priorities and scope.
 
The Scrum Master main responsibilities are:
-Estimate development tasks and work breakdown, in consultation with the Development Leads, to support customer project managers in creation of timeplan.
-Ensure prerequisites to start development are met.
-Allocate resources across internal/external projects and operations as prioritized by the Head of Development.
-Communicate timelines for software delivery internally in a well visible and simple manner.
-Communicate with customer project managers, on behalf of the development team, to understand/clarify requirements, assess feasibility and raise impediments.
-Monitor development team members to ensure activities are completed by defined timelines and scope, updates stakeholders internally and escalate when necessary.
-Manage the entire software development lifecycle, from coding to release, and defines improvement for it.
-Support senior management in addressing resource needs (capacity, training, etc.) and opportunities for improvement based on key metrics.
