Oracle Apex Professional, Freelance

Our client is one of the fastest growing luxury vacation and real estate specialists offering outstanding fully appointed vacation accommodation in areas of outstanding natural beauty or character to own or rent. The locations are supported by a unique service who are a point of contact for guests from booking through to planning their stay. The company currently has locations across Europe and is continually growing. This company plans on opening more locations across The Netherlands.
This well-known company uses its own suite of bespoke operational and e-commerce systems based predominantly on Oracle databases in conjunction with Oracle Apex and extensive use of API and other technologies. They have exciting plans to continue to develop and integrate their in-house systems to become an industry leading benchmark. They are also migrating Oracle designer to Oracle Apex and/ or other tools which makes the technical activities more versatile.
The current core team comprises 22 main technical staff members which serve main functions of supporting and further developing the e-commerce systems. The successful Freelance Oracle Apex developer should bring a thorough knowledge and experience of databases and technologies applied in business environments. The candidate must be very customer focussed in both support and functional development. The candidate must be a self-start and be able to work independently as well as in a team and collaborative environment.
The Freelance/ ZZP/ Oracle Apex developer essential abilities required;
-experienced with Oracle Apex.
-excellent with PL/SQL.
-javaScript/HTML//jQuery.
-relational database design.
-experienced with report design tools.
-experienced with Oracle forms & reports 11/12.
-version control Systems and procedures.
-experienced with WebLogic 11/12.
-be flexible enough to work with business users to design new functionality without detailed functional specifications.
-experienced with Oracle Designer.
-ability to deliver to deadlines.
-familiar with CDAAS implementations.
-efficient Code design and structure.
-strong knowledge or good Oracle DBA skills (installation, configuration, monitoring, performance tuning, etc.)
-exposure to Management Information and Reporting Systems.
-proven track record of working on Oracle projects to deliver key targets on time.
-broad knowledge of Information systems and communication technology.
-in depth knowledge of database systems, their design and application in the business environment.
The Freelance/ ZZP/ Oracle Apex developer offered:
-this company will be offering a generous hourly rate depending on experience/added value.
-this project is for 6 months with possible extension up to 12 months.
-36 hours a week or 40 hours a week.
-working from a fixed an reliable location in Amsterdam.
-working in a supportive environment with 22 Tech experts.
