Their dynamic teams are looking for an Microsoft Azure/ Cloud/ Systems Engineer to provide a mixture of project work and day to day AWS and Microsoft Azure work for other teams in SwiftKey. The big project right now is based on their impressive AWS to Azure migration and you’ll be a key part of this. The environment provides services to many millions of users, and key systems receive billions of events per day so you’ll be working on a global scale.
Because of the complexity and size of systems, it's important that you have proven experience ideally gained from an environment that has used Microsoft Azure at scale. This MNE is building all new environments using “Infrastructure as code” so that their systems and applications can be consistently and quickly deployed.

The Microsoft Azure/ Cloud Engineer Essentials:
-Microsoft Azure Foundation (Subscription, Network, Compute, Features).
-You have knowledge of and experience with Microsoft Active Directory, Windows Server 2016, Hyper-V, Remote Desktop Services and Microsoft SQL server 2016.
-Experience with PowerShell, PowerShell Workflow and troubleshooting PowerShell.
-You have knowledge of SCOM and MOMS.
-Knowledge of operation management, systems security, testing, databases and mobility considerations.
-Experience with provisioning cloud service environment.
-Knowledge of IT security risks.
The Microsoft Azure/ Cloud Engineer main responsibilities are:
-Implementing technical and business functional requirements on Cloud platforms.
-Managing and monitoring all installed systems and infrastructure.
-Installing, configuring, testing and maintaining operating systems, application software and system management tools.
-Monitoring and testing application performance for potential bottlenecks, identifying possible solutions, and working with developers to implement those fixes.
-Supporting enterprise-wide, complex cloud infrastructure solutions.
-Managing assigned projects and program components to deliver services in accordance with established objectives.
-You are/ will be one of the first point of contacts regarding the Cloud Platforms.
-Responding to inquiries from staff, administrators, service providers, site personnel and outside.
-Keep up to date with current technology trends and in keeping their professional knowledge up to date.
