Today their IT products and services cover a wide range of computing, database, and application deployment domains providing intelligent solutions to a broad range of customers and use cases worldwide.

Now they are looking to take things to the next level of communication using other channels such as web, social media, call centre etc… by using adaptive learning techniques for analysing big data to determine the next action of the user and reacting with the best possible reaction to it. As part of the core development team, you will work with architects, engineers and management to design new market-leading solutions. All development takes place in an Agile environment modified to suit their unique needs. They believe in the combination of three core development approaches: Agile, Scrum and SOLID. The engineering organization is flat and hands-on.

Who are they looking for?
Our respected client in Amsterdam is looking for a Freelance Front-end Web Developer who is motivated to combine the art of design with the art of programming. Responsibilities will include translation of the UI/UX design wireframes to actual code that will produce visual elements of the application. You will bridge the gap between graphical design and technical implementation, taking an active role on both sides and defining how the application looks as well as how it works.
The ideal freelance Front-end candidate has an excellent eye for detail, pragmatic approach and an absolute commitment to making sure features are well implemented and bug free. The employer makes all of their decisions based on experiments and testing, so you should be excited by taking a data-led approach to development. If you believe you’re also a passionate advocate for the user, and are looking to work in an Agile, collaborative environment than they would definitely like to hear from you!
Furthermore, you take responsibility for getting things done in a reasonable time frame. So when you say something will be done you almost always keep your word. When you don’t there’s always a good reason why and you learn from the experience to minimize the chances it will happen again. Furthermore, our client, the employer will provide you with a series of challenging projects together with the tools, equipment and support to give you the best possible chance of succeeding.
Being the Freelance Front-end developer;
-You have experience troubleshooting cross-browser compatibility issues.
-You have 5+ years of experience in a relevant role.
-You have experience with data-driven product development: analytics, A/B testing, etc.
-You have knowledge of version control systems.
-You have proficient understanding of HTML5, CSS3 SASS, Bootstrap.
-You have experience with Angular 2+.
-Hands on HTTP and JavaScript debugging and diagnostic tools.
-Basic HTTP protocol and methods understanding.
-You are a team player.
-You collaborate with other team members and stakeholders.
It is a must to have one of the following (big plus to have both):
-Proficient understanding in C#, ASP.NET MVC, WEB API.
-Proficient understanding in Ionic framework for hybrid apps or similar.
Responsibilities of the Freelance Front-end developer;
-Build front-ends for all screens (desktop, mobile, tablet).
-Build reusable code and libraries for future use.
-Translate requirements and mockups into fully functioning features using JavaScript and HTML/CSS.
-Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs.
-Optimize application for maximum speed and scalability.
-Continuously look for ways to improve and implement A/B tests.
-Develop new user-facing features.
-Assure that all user input is validated before submitting to back-end.
-Write high-performance, reusable code.
-Is able to communicate well through formal and informal discussions, code reviews, design reviews, technical presentations, or as a consultant on projects.
Offered;
-A 32 to 40 hour per week freelance position, paid by the hour. The project has a duration of approximately 6 months with a potential extension to 12 months.
