You’ll be surrounded by smart, highly-capable people in a collaborative environment that encourages helping and developing others by sharing knowledge and experience. You’ll be as passionate as the employer is about delighting their Leisure/ Hospitality clients with high quality, well-engineered software solutions. This IT Software Development company follows an innovative and Agile approach with SOLID development practices, using a wide range of modern technologies, depending on the requirements of each project, including C#, MVC, Entity Frameworks Node, Angular and React.
This is a multiverse role which combines strong Software Development Management experience with the ability to clearly communicate technical matters.
This role is pivotal to ensuring the smooth running of technical projects at the employer who is specialised in delivering Leisure and Hospitality systems. This involves managing an internal tech team made up of front-end and back end developers and freelance support. Working closely with the Workflow and technical teams, he/she will ensure everyone’s workflow and capacity is planned and managed and that clear briefs are provided, allowing technical team members to focus on delivering standout work. The Software Development Manager will also manage the process of outsourcing tech work to third parties and be responsible for the output of this work.
As well as having oversight of all technical projects, he/she needs to have a Microsoft hands-on development background, either full-stack or back-end. So if you are a non-programming Technical Manager now, and you used to be a solid Microsoft developer in the past, you will be credible for this position as you will be co-responsible for designing and building technical solutions, within agreed budgets and timeframes, that effectively translate thinking and creativity into digital solutions and products that work seamlessly, look great, are accessible and secure.

-Excellent at articulating the complex and technical jargon in layman’s terms without being patronising, both internally and at client meetings.
-Strong people management skills and proficiency in the management and motivation of high performing software development teams, preferably in multi-site environments.
-Strong multi-tasking experience.
-Strong appreciation of Microsoft software engineering and associated development technologies and the full software development lifecycle.
-You have/ or used to have extensive hands on coding experience with large scale distributed/cloud systems (ASP.NET MVC, C#, etc.)
-A relevant BSc. or MSc. Degree.
-Previous experience of working in a dynamic, fast moving environment.
