The Opportunity
As a Solvency II Solution Specialist you will play a central role in helping clients implement and optimise regulatory reporting and compliance solutions focused on Solvency II requirements. You will work closely with insurers and financial institutions, translating evolving European regulations into functional business and software requirements. Acting as the bridge between clients, regulatory frameworks and technical teams you will ensure solutions remain compliant, efficient and aligned with market developments.

You will also gain exposure to broader regulatory frameworks including IFRS, CSRD, IORP II, and DORA.

Key Responsibilities
-Analyse and interpret evolving European regulatory requirements, with a strong focus on Solvency II
-Gather and define business requirements based on client and regulatory needs
-Translate complex regulatory frameworks into functional solution requirements
-Configure and maintain client-specific reporting and calculation environments
-Assess the impact of regulatory and functional changes on software calculations and platform capabilities
-Act as a trusted partner between clients, regulatory stakeholders, and technical teams to ensure business needs are accurately translated into functional solutions
-Collaborate closely with development and QA teams during implementation and testing phases
-Provide regulatory and product-related support to clients and internal stakeholders
-Proactively identify optimisation opportunities and anticipate evolving client and regulatory requirements
-Contribute to product improvements and process optimisation initiatives
-Participate in international projects and client engagements across Europe
-Support the continuous enhancement of cloud-based compliance solutions

Your Profile
-Bachelor’s degree or higher in Economics, Business, Information Technology, Actuarial Science, Finance, or a related field
-Experience in a client-facing, consulting, implementation, or regulatory environment
-Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
-Ability to interpret and apply EU regulatory frameworks
-Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal
-Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and familiarity with reporting or analytical tools
-Ability to communicate complex concepts in a clear and structured way
-Strong stakeholder management and active listening skills
-Proactive, solution-oriented, and detail-focused mindset
-Ability to remain organised and solution-focused in complex or time-sensitive situations
-Comfortable working in an international and fast-paced environment

Previous experience with Solvency II, insurance reporting, actuarial environments, or regulatory technology solutions would be highly beneficial.
